Domestic Flight Booking
Search flights between Indian cities, compare live fares from the airlines in one list, and choose the fare that suits your trip.
How to book a domestic flight
- Enter your cities, date and number of travellers, then search.
- Sort by best, cheapest or fastest, and filter by airline, stops and timings.
- Open a flight to compare its fares, baggage and cancellation charges.
- Add traveller details, then choose seats, meals and extra baggage if the airline sells them.
- Pay securely, and get your booking reference and airline PNR.
Before you fly within India
- Carry a valid government photo ID. The name must match your booking.
- Check-in closes earlier than departure, and each airline sets its own time. Many close about an hour before the flight.
- Cabin and check-in baggage limits depend on the airline and the fare, so check them before you pay.
- Infants and children have their own fare and ID rules, set by the airline.
Choosing the right fare
The lowest fare usually has the highest cancellation charges and fewer extras. If your plans could change, compare the Fare Rules of a flexible fare. The price difference is often smaller than the charge to change a cheaper ticket.
Can I book a flight for someone else?
Yes. Enter the traveller's name exactly as it appears on their government photo ID, and your own contact details.
Are airline taxes included in the price?
Yes. The total shown before you pay includes the airline's taxes and fees. Seats, meals and extra baggage are optional and added only if you choose them.
